DRS North Texas Disputes, Rights & Settlements

Privacy Policy

DRS North Texas is a set of static pages. You can read every guide without signing up, logging in or typing anything into the site, and the site itself does not try to find out who you are.

What the site does not collect

  • No forms. There is no contact form, intake form, quiz or search box that sends what you type anywhere.
  • No accounts. There is nothing to register for and no login.
  • No analytics at launch. The pages load no analytics, tracking pixels, advertising networks or third-party scripts. Fonts are served from the site's own files, not from an outside font service.
  • No cookies set by the site. The pages do not create cookies or store anything in your browser.

Like any website, the server that delivers these pages receives the basic technical details your browser sends with each request, such as your IP address and the page you asked for. The site is hosted on Vercel, whose own request logs are governed by Vercel's policies. DRS North Texas does not use those details to identify or profile readers. If analytics are ever added, this page will be updated first to say what is collected and why.

Sponsor and affiliate links

Advertisements appear only in labelled spaces, and a sponsor link goes straight to the advertiser's own website. Those links are marked as sponsored in the page code. Affiliate links to self-help products, if any are added, will be marked the same way and disclosed on the page. Once you follow one of these links you are on someone else's site, and its own privacy policy and cookies apply there. Your browser may tell that site which page you came from, as it does with most links.

The site does not pass your name, contact details or the facts of your problem to any advertiser, and it never contacts readers on anyone's behalf. Texas law treats paid solicitation seriously: under Penal Code section 38.12, a person who, with intent to obtain an economic benefit, accepts or agrees to accept money or anything of value to solicit employment commits a third-degree felony. In that chapter, soliciting employment means an unrequested in-person or telephone contact with a prospective client, and it does not include an advertisement by a professional through public media (section 38.01(11)).

Email

If you write to team@drsnorthtexas.org, your message and address are used only to answer you and, for a correction, to fix the guide. They are not shared with advertisers or added to a mailing list. Please do not send personal details about a legal matter.

Questions about this policy can go to the same address. The rest of DRS North Texas works the same way: no sign-up, nothing to fill in.
